An alignment visit should account for the requirements of your particular vehicle. Driver assistance features, steering sensors and calibration procedures vary by make, model, year and equipment. A universal sensor-reset claim does not describe every vehicle.
Start with the vehicle and its symptoms
Tell us about pulling, uneven tire wear, an off-centre steering wheel or warning messages. Mention recent curb or pothole impacts, suspension repairs, collision work, windshield replacement and modifications. Similar symptoms can have several causes.
Use the manufacturer’s current instructions
Ask the repair provider which inspections, adjustments or calibration procedures apply to your vehicle and the work being performed. Model-specific service information determines the correct steps. Manufacturer owner resources also explain the limits and warnings for the fitted driver assistance features.

Confirm the service scope before booking
Wheel alignment and camera or radar calibration can require different procedures and equipment. Confirm which work the provider can perform for your vehicle, whether another specialist is needed and what the estimate includes. Do not assume a general alignment booking includes every calibration procedure.
Hevtech does not provide ADAS camera or radar calibration. If your vehicle requires that work, arrange it with an appropriately equipped specialist.
Report warning messages and handling changes
Follow the vehicle’s owner guidance for warnings. Explain changes in steering or driver assistance behaviour when arranging assessment. If steering control is compromised, arrange safe transport to the repair provider.
