A pothole, curb strike or collision can affect more than the part of the vehicle you can see. Tire damage, changes in steering and suspension concerns need an appropriate assessment before repairs are planned.
Hevtech offers mechanical repairs, tires, steering, suspension and wheel alignments at our Picture Butte shop. We do not offer collision/body repairs or ADAS camera and radar calibration. Those services require an appropriate specialist.
Start with safety and the extent of the damage
If the vehicle has serious visible damage, a damaged tire, abnormal steering or braking, leaking fluid or a safety warning, do not assume it is safe to drive. Arrange suitable assistance and have the damage assessed.
Collision damage can involve the body, structure, restraints, electronics and mechanical parts. A body-repair facility can advise on collision-related work and your insurer can explain its own claim requirements.
Describe changes in tires, steering and handling
Tell the shop what happened and what you noticed afterward. Uneven steering, pulling, vibration, unusual noises or tire damage help identify what needs to be checked.
An alignment does not repair damaged or worn components. Assessment may identify work needed before alignment settings can be addressed.

Check manufacturer requirements for driver assistance systems
Some vehicles have cameras or radar used by driver assistance features. Repairs and changes to vehicle geometry may require checks or calibration specified by the manufacturer. Requirements vary by model and procedure.
Hevtech does not provide ADAS calibration. Ask an appropriately equipped provider to confirm the manufacturer requirements and arrange that work when needed.
